Of course they don't. Does aspirin work for everyone that has a headache? The answer is no. If you are interested in trying topicals, you may want to try minoxidil in one of its umpteen variations. What is your degree of hair loss and what is your family history of hair loss?

RNORAM:
I think that it has a lot of ingredients *supposedly* good for hair loss, but there is very little proof that any of them, besides minoxidil, actually do anything. I have to discount Aminexil because I have seen it in numerous products over the years that all have proven to be less than stellar. I guess that it is worth a shot, but I really don't see it having much more potential than plain minoxidil.

RNORAM - I've had a little bit of regrowth from Spectral DNC-L.
Remember I shave my head regularly. The regrowth I've had is not over noticible, but I can feel a thickening of hair at the front, due to not having much there, beforehand.
This maybe the minoxidil - please can someone advise how minoxidil works.
Also note I'm only two weeks into using Spectral DNC-L,so perhaps I'll get more of a responce after using for a few months - hopefully.
I also use propecia, which I've been using for two years now.

A topical that has the following mode of actions should help to slow hairloss and thicken growth:
1) increases SOD levels
2) reduces inflammation
3) improves bloodflow
A shampoo that reduces inflammation will also help: Piroctone Olamine shampoo

Pete

Quarter head, if propecia and minox failed to give any result, well, you're left with the well known remaining options:
1) Naturals DHT inhibitors (Saw P + pygeum or beta sis + pygeum or nettle root + pygeum)
2) revivogen
3) remox (I think remox is not only minox)
4) laser brush
+condition 0)= multivit in all cases.

not sure if since prop etc didnt work whether you will respond to natural dht blockers either but u can try...........saw palmetto is a very weak dht blocker but, it works , if you are a responder, at least it did for me
i never tried prop or any drugs though. then u can try adding some other naturals to see if those work, not much to risk, side effects are rare , the cost is not high
if you are not on a super hair vitamin and mineral i recommend it, highly
also add separately MSM and horsetail............those help trememdously
