This patient posts as "cdnla310" had 1850 FUE grafts. He wanted his hairline augmented to reduce the forehead proportion.

A soft hairline was created by adding nape hair. The HT world has battled with the ways of creating a soft looking hairline. The ability to take hair with minimal cosmetic evidence of scarring by FUE methods has made it possible to revisit the use of nape hair in suitable cases for this purpose. Strip harvesting would have been not practical in this regard.

I have found that nape hair performed as well as the other scalp hair taken from sides/scalp in my work . I really like seeing these temporal areas closed off . Closed temples alone and the effect on framing of the face adds so much depth and youthful appeal.

that you can honestly tell a patient that their hairloss will stop at the point that this kid's is at when you transplanted into the temporal and hairline. NO ONE'S hairloss at that age just STOPS. this person will be absolutely screwed and look like a total freak when nature takes it's course.

hair transplantation cannot be looked at as a specific point in time. yeah this guy looks FANTASTIC now. but nature does not stop at now.

enough with these perfect looking jobs. show me this guys head in 7 years please

By this logic, no one under 40+ should get an HT?

I believe that a good HT doc can somewhat predict if a patient is destined to become a NW7.

This patient looks great and has plenty of donor hair for any future needs.
