	Below are photos that depict the progress of a patient who’s goal was to conceal a strip scar. The scar was Scars repair is frequently performed at our clinic. This patient received 80 grafts into the strip scar and the follow-up results are at 8 months and 2 years post-op. 	thats a darn thin scar, i would say that scar healed very well, with the shaved head one can see the detriments even of the finest scars, but it is still quite short in the after pic, and im sure many would be happy with a result like that scarred5 has 2 Personal Journal(s). The scar wasn’t terribly wide, angles of the surrounding hair weren't skewed but the scar could still be seen and made the patient want to disguise it. What really helped the result in this case was that the scar wasn't discolored or raised and that made a huge difference as well. To the best of my knowledge, all 80 grafts were transplanted in a single pass. The patient is pleased with the result. 	Yet again another mis-leading before (shaved) and after pics (unshaved) result. You absolutely have no clue if the 80 grafts actually did cover the scar. Placement of the scalp donor grafts was adequate. The vertical scar in the donor wasn't touched. Shame on you. Bigmac, You may or may not have a clue about what is depicted in the attached photos. The patient had 80 grafts into a fine scar grew just fine. If you have ever seen a patient who has received 80 grafts transplanted into a fine scar then you would have a pretty strong opinion about the high survival rate of the scalp donor hair grafts placed into the fine scar. The patient has excellent growth from the scar grafting session. This patient can have a haircut with a one guard or less and still not have a visible linear scar. It says a lot when you question our photos and you haven’t made a positive comment about our clinic’s cases. I hope you try enjoying the success of our many patients' results. This patient would be proud to testify about the growth in the scar. Luckily, this patient attended our live-patient viewing at an ISHRS meeting. Our older returning patients' may shave their donor area once but since we have been doing away with shaving the donor area all together, this patient is returning and didn’t want to completely shave ( “bic”) the donor area. In the meantime, I'll try to get a perfectly "unshaved" photo and get a recorded testimony to support this case. 	There was a poster on another site who was incredibly informative and an outspoken critic of this industry who had FUE into his scar by this clinic and was, for a time, pictured on this clinic's website. He was actually quite disappointed with his result and I remember him saying so (I would have never known that was his strip from their website if he had not posted a picture of it on the repair forum) Sadly he was banned and another informative critic silenced. What it proves is these pictures are oft times not only meaningless but intentionally misleading. I could take a picture of my hair on top and it would look great, but closer examination of it would reveal 90's era "mini grafts", or smaller plugs. But you'd never know if I took a picture and posted it online. Thats how I ended up getting originally suckered into my first transplant, a photo album full of misleading pictures.
