Lately there has been a spate of posts proclaiming that all of the pessimists claim to have full heads of hair
I am one of the top 2 pessimists on the board, and I have NEVER claimed to have a full head of hair
so all of you smug, wannabee researchers, who want to sit there and say all the pessimists should not be here if they have full heads of hair, and they need to get a life................learn the facts before you open your mouth and pat yourselves on the back
fckrish or whatever his name is, made that claim, if you have a problem with it, address it TO HIM.................not ALL THE PESSIMISTS ON THE BOARD.........
you only make yourselves appear foolish when you post crap like that

when a new treatment method comes out which has ACTUALLY BEEN TESTED, let us know

You guys say this is a research forum, it is not, you do not even have studies to post about Acell since it has not yet been studied in humans, so you post studies with apes or horses................ya that is very relevant

i have a right to my opinion, just because it is contrary to the tide of the board, does that mean you want to censor dissenting opinions?
these guys are on here insulting the guys with dissenting opinions, they call us, idiots, misinformed, etc etc, and then complain when i give it back to them
I dont come onto this board antagonizing the board members, .........they interpret, through their own choice, .........dissenting opinions as threatening, and then proceed to insult the posters................
so if you want to be fair, then be fair
if you want the board to be only a cheerleader board about HM, then so be it
If you want me to go compile a list of board insults of guys who dared to go against the tide of board opinion, I would be more than happy to

basically the reason i started this thread is the thread where the posters said................................although I do find it amusing that ALL of the "antagonizers" have "full heads of hair" but still come to this site everyday, all day (I have been up and posted at 2 am and have had them respond withing 5 minutes) and yet tell other members that they have no life and are pathetic....Please, I know if I had a full head of hair I certanily wouldn't sit on a hair loss forum all day.....would you ??? More like a couple bald dudes in denial..... And WE are the pathetic ones....LOL

They do way more antagonizing of posters, that come to their board, than dissenting posters do towards them

maybe you are right and its not worth discussing and researching acell and all the other things. im thinking about it...is it the right way for me to hope and wait for a hairloss 'cure'? i mean, is it that realistic that its actually worth discussing about it or are people in here only what hanging says - a bunch of frustrated and desperate guys.
yesterday a guy from my work who is bald - a nw6 - said that he doesnt care about his hairloss. maybe i shouldnt care too. maybe i should leave the forum. ****, now you maybe enlightened me though.
so guys, what you think, how realistic is it that there will come a cure?maybe we really put too many hopes in these researches. maybe a half of a year or a year break from hairloss forums may be good for me. but dont think i like you now, hanging...but you re good, you maybe showed me with your post that i put too many hopes in acell myself.

some thoughts about life, what is important |
helpme i am not telling guys to not have hope, but
it depends on how much of your future you are staking on these potential cures
personally i WISH , sure that one of these treatments will give me back my crown hair, but realistically i dont plan for that to happen
i am at a point where after 25 yrs of hair loss that, i am ecstatic to just maintain what i have now, with my natural dht blockers
i am used to the way my hair looks and if i had to live the rest of my life with this hair i would be ok with that
maintaining what you have is not easy, as all of us know, but i think also that if i continued to thin, i would be ok with that
now in my 20s i would have been devastated but that is all self induced
sure do people kid us about our hair, sure they do, but its funny these same guys will someday have to deal with hair loss themselves, the ones that kid us about it, only then it wont be so funny to them
look at Jerry Seinfeld giving george a hard time on his tv show, then look at seinfelds hair now
truly in the overall spectrum of life. hair is not as important as we try to make it on this board
its not life threatening a death sentence like cancer is it? no, it is only cosmetic
what about when you are 60 would you care if you were going bald then? you say no i would be old by then but believe me older people care a lot about their appearance
but it is more acceptable over 40 to be thinning than it is in your 20s
i look at it this way, if losing your hair is the worst thing you have to deal with in your life, you are very fortunate
there are much more important issues to deal with
Family, work, overall health,
How about helping others? instead of us focusing on OURSELVES so much how about us helping someone less fortunate, it might help put things in perspective

i named myself "helpme" a long time ago. there i really needed help coz i was so desperate about my hairloss. but im luckyly not anymore. im fine with it now. sure, i wished there was a cure, but not to an extend that i hang on every little chance there is. im thinking about leaving the forum. it doesnt give me much anymore. a cure will come in some years maybe, maybe not. i can watch the forum every half a year or every year. thats all i need to know if there is something new and good out.
