Patient Reviews - updated through Aug 31, 2008 (Hair Transplant)

Here's the latest Hair Transplant Patient Reviews & Statistics, updated through Aug 31, 2008. It includes patient results for all doctors and clinics who had published their work in HairSite over the years.

This chart can be very helpful for anyone who is considering hair transplant as an option. Hair transplant is not an exact science. There is no guarantee. As a general rule, start your research focusing on doctors who have published consistent results over an extended period of time.

Any clinic or doctor is welcome to publish his work in forum. 1 credit for every patient result published in the forum. Be sure to mention the following in the subject line whenever you start a new thread or you may risk losing the credit:

1) # of grafts,
2) technique used (ie: FUE, BHT, STRIP, repair etc)
3) How many months post op or mention "final result".

Clinics or doctors with prolific results please try to identify each result with an alias for the patient. Otherwise you may risk losing a credit in the event that a patient with the same # of grafts had already been archived in the database.

As of now, both Dr. Arvind and Dr. Cole have reached a milestone each with over 100 published cases in the forum. Dr. Arvind is maintaining the overall lead among doctors worldwide while Dr. Cole scores highest in the US. HDC has the highest overall score among all clinics in Europe.

» Having said that I believe the database would be even that much better if
» a link to pictures/video/summaries could be provided against each of the
» patients. That would allow users to compare their hair loss with those of
» patients and once a match is found then, determine the number possible
» grafts and possible results.
»
» Great work. Thank you

It's there. Click the DETAILS link to the right of each of the doctor or clinic's name and you will be brought to the individual links for each and every one of the patient pictures/videos.

Excellent database. It certainly would allow prospective patients to gauge which DR's are willing to publish their results, which in a way is a reflection of the confidence they have into their work.

Having said that I believe the database would be even that much better if a link to pictures/video/summaries could be provided against each of the patients. That would allow users to compare their hair loss with those of patients and once a match is found then, determine the number possible grafts and possible results.

Great work. Thank you
