maneless is the only person here who doesn't lie to himself (Support & General Discussions)

almost all his posts are somehow about men not being successful with women because of hairloss.

he is right! men with hairloss are in general much less successful with women.

what other people try to ignore, or deny, maneless comes out and says. he's not trying to sugar coat the truth, even when it comes to himself, because i'm sure he would say hairloss has hurt his own chances with women.

so therefore maneless is one of the few people on a hairloss forum who keeps on talking about the truth, and keeps on pointing out the truth, no matter how unsavory it is to him or anyone else.

what i also like about maneless is no matter how many times people insult him, attack him, call him crazy, etc. he's not afraid to just come back and repeat what he's said, and rub people's faces in the truth...

the fact that he gets all this response proves that he's really talking the truth... people just can't handle the truth.

nobody said hair loss does not affect our lives

the dispute is whether it makes you a loser with women and in life in general and it does if you think it does

thing i like about maneless is that he's at least man enough to admit something that a lot of guys have a hard time admitting, and prefer to deny when talking to others.

i've NEVER seen maneless whine. all he does is repeat the unwelcome truth that a lot of people don't like to dwell on.

maneless has NEVER said, "oh god, why me?" in fact i don't even think he believes in god. he is not a fatalist either because he talks about the possibility of cures.

there's a difference between whining and what maneless does. maneless likes to dwell on this shyte, but i think it's proof that he lives by the old greek saying "to thine own self be true". when you have a big problem the first thing you have to do is admit the gravity of the problem 100%, realize it and don't deny it.

that doesn't mean whining or crying about it. it doesn't mean stopping your life. i can tell from maneless's rants that the guy actually has a very high self esteem. he might sound crazy, he might actually be crazy in some ways. but he has a high self esteem, loves himself, is truthful and true to himself, and is open and straight with other people.

the problem is that A LOT of other people who interact with him can't stand him, because he gets under their skin by saying things they don't want to face.

Man, you are one smart fella. and of course i love myself. look at all the bashing and battering i take because of my expressed opinion. only someone who believes in himself would stick to his guns the way i do. and yes, you are exactly right: my feeling is that the only way to beat this thing is TO FIRST ACCEPT THE TRUTH OF WHAT THIS THING IS. Man, you are smart, smart, smart. and again, you are correct, i am not whining. what i am doing is tougher and harder than what a lot of others here do because they lie to themselves to make the tragedy of hairloss less painful. i accept it for what it it truly is and i will look it in the eye and i will not cower from it by lying to myself (like so many others do) about the seriousness of it. Like you said: to my own self be true. i know i'm right and i will stick to my beliefs no matter what.

Even this response by you is another example of a man cowardly hiding from the truth...tiptoeing past the cemetary. Just call maneless crazy and then you can pretend that i must be wrong, despite that i have posted study after study after study that affirms my position. i'm not really crazy but you really are a coward. you're a coward because you hide from the truth instead of looking it square in the eye and growing from your predicament. when this is all said and done, whether i get my hair back or not, i will have grown from this experience because i deal with it. didn't you ever hear that saying that goes, "That which does not kill us makes us stronger."? well, it only works if you face it. it doesn't work if you hide from it. Man, you are one smart fella. and of course i love myself. look at all the bashing and battering i take because of my expressed opinion. only someone who believes in himself would stick to his guns the way i do. and yes, you are exactly right: my feeling is that the only way to beat this thing is TO FIRST ACCEPT THE TRUTH OF WHAT THIS THING IS. Man, you are smart, smart, smart. and again, you are correct, i am not whining. what i am doing is tougher and harder than what a lot of others here do because they lie to themselves to make the tragedy of hairloss less painful. i accept it for what it it truly is and i will look it in the eye and i will not cower from it by lying to myself (like so many others do) about the seriousness of it.
