Skin irritation (Hair Replacement Systems)

Curiuos if anyone has some advice on skin irritaions? It's been happening more frequently over the past 2 years. I wear an over all skin bond - no tape! It's a Farrell system if that makes a difference. It tends to happen in spots. I've used cortizone with some degree of sucsess but it does seem to lose it's effectivness after awhile. What I end up doing is not putting adhesive over the irritatation then it becomes very dry and flakey. Is this part od the healing process? Any help is greatly apppreciated, thanks!

Does it happen more frequently during winter months?

It sounds like common skin dermatitis or skin inflammatory conditions. Over the counter cortizone creams are usually very weak. You may want to consider a stronger corticosteroid from your doctor. Better yet, consult the people at Farrell and see if they have any advice for your condition.

I haven't consulted the people at Farrell yet. I went to a natural health food store and bought something called CamoCare just to give it a shot. If that doesn't work I guess I'll have to breakdown and go see a dermatologist.
