transfered in from another forum in this site.... (Cosmetic Thickener & Volumizer)

Look at this link guys...this looks like a novel way to increase thickness/volume of existing hair. I would say that this amount of increased volume/thickness could be very helpful to lots of guys, including me. Does anyone know how to get this stuff??????

Wow...you're right Maneless...The difference is like night and day.
Day with the first 2 pics and night with the last pic plus a comb over.

Widow'sPeak, you're missing the point. Of course, if you go from where that guy started and you end up where he finished at week 5 that would not be a satifactory end result. But if you started out to begin with having about the same hair volume that guy ended up with at week 5 of treatment, and then you added proportionately the same degree of improvement that guy got from start to week 5, that could be an acceptable end result for awhile.

keep in mind that the last photo where the guy has the most hair, well, that is where some of us would start out are and if those of us who would start at that point got a commensurately equal benefit as the guy in the pics did, well, that might be an acceptable end result, at least until something else comes along.

We are not all as bald as that guy is in his first picture.

Why don't you just stay out of this forum if you don't like it? There is nothing wrong with this forum.

And all fake stuff is not the same. There's a big difference between a wig and volumizers and thickeners. A wig has a base. it can come on and off. But these volumizers that go inside a hair shaft or coat a hair to increase its' diameter, well, these methods have no base. They aren't removable. You can't get caught and embaress yourself. They are much more socially acceptable than wigs on men are. They are seen as space age technologically cool whereas a man in a wig is seen as an idiot wearing a wig like a woman.
It's totally different.

I wore a toupee (wig) one time and I was so embaressed. I cut it out of my head myself. They had attached it surgically. I hated it. It was on my head for one day, and that is all. But I use volumizers all the time and I am not one bit ashamed of them. I think they're cool and smart.

You aren't dellusional. Rather, you suffer from a condition called "Horsesassitis". You see, I do think those photos are probably genuine. But I am open to the possibility that they are doctored photos. Whatever. The point is I am trying to find out. You are not. You are just 100% sure they are doctored photos. What if you are wrong?

And no, I do not believe he regrew cosmetically visible hair in 5 weeks. However, I do believe that there is a chance that the existing hair strands he already had became plumper/fatter. And if that happened then that would create the appearance of his gaining more hair even though he actually still only has the same amount of strands he had along.

Do you get it yet? He maintained the same amount of strands of hair, but they thickened...and once each strand thickened they covered more space.

It's pretty simple...compare these two words:

THICK

THICK

QUESTION: Which one of these two words takes up more space??????? ANSWER: The bold typed word takes up more space. You can see that the bold type word is longer and takes up more space. Use your imagination for the first time in your life and think of those two words as strands of hair. Which of the two would cover more scalp skin? You can do it. Think of using volumizers and thickeners as finding a way to make your hair go from "nonbold" to " bold" type. Of course the thicker bold hair would cover more scalp skin than the nonbold hair. Now imagine a few thousand hairs on the top of some guys head all going from the "nonbold" to the "bold" hair type. Each one of those strands would cover more hair than they did before they were made bold, and all the strands would work together to create the overall appearance of significantly more hair.

AND IT ISN'T EVEN EMBARESSING.

AND IT ISN'T EVEN EMBARESSING.

CHICKS WOULD THINK THAT VOLUMIZERS/THICKENERS ARE COOL

CHICKS WOULD THINK THAT VOLUMIZERS/THICKENERS ARE COOL

See the above sentences nonbold compared to bold. See how the more words you bold the more space that is taken up by the phrases. See how the one word example above using the word "THICK" only took up a little more space in the bold form than in the nonbold form. Then see how IN the second phrase, "AND IT ISN'T EVEN EMBARESSING", the bold effect on more words has a cumulative effect and the difference between the nonbold and the bold becomes more apparent. Then look at the 3rd comparisson of nonbold vs bold, "CHICKS WOULD THINK THAT VOLUMIZERS/THICKENERS ARE COOL", and see how the distinction between nonbold and bold becomes more obvious in terms of the differing amounts of space the same phrase takes up when one phrase is nonbold and the other is bold. My point is obvious unless one's case of "Horsesassitis" is very very severe, and here is my point: The degree to which a volumizer/thickener can help depends on how much hair a person starts out with. If you have little or no hair then it might help some but it won't give you an acceptable end result. However, if you start out with a little more hair (like the guy looks ended up in his last picture after 5 weeks) then a volumizer might work wonders for you.

Maneless, do you think you could make Lawrence Cutsinger into a Norwood 1 based on his last known photos last July? When I say that I mean take a Norwood 7, mid 60's with reddish hair and turn him into a Richie Cunningham from Happy Days. With your extensive experience on cosmetic thickeners and volumizers could this be done on a man like Lawrence? Would spray paint be involved? Just curious.

I'm saying that depending on how much hair the person starts out with before using the volumizer/thickener a person could get surprisingly positive results from using the volumizer/thickener.

It is you that insists that I am overhyping these volumizers/thickeners. I have no idea who this cutsinger guy is or what his situation is, and I don't care. Do you think that if scientists invented a penis volumizer then you could use it and then you could finally fill up your gfs vagina? I know that your gf would be happiest if she got to have a big penis fill her vagina up.
