Dr. Cole - Pluggy Hairline Revision – Result Pictures (Hair Transplant)

Pluggy Hairline Revision – 2 Year Result Pictures

A 31 year old patient came to Dr. Cole wanting to improve his hairline. He had two previous hair transplants from another clinic that left him with poor growth and several larger follicular units on the frontal hairline, giving a pluggy appearance. We revised the hairline with 1169 FIT grafts to increase the density, lower the hairline, and camouflage the plugginess for a more natural look. Below are the results two years after the surgery.

Definetly an improvement, i take it he didnt have any of the old grafts removed as i can still see some in the hairline.

The patient's goal was a thick, natural hair line. Even though the bigger grafts were at the wrong angles, Dr. Cole left them there so that they could contribute toward the density. More grafts were added around the areas of low density in the hair line, and then finer grafts were placed in front to give a natural look.

I still think he could have used a few more grafts in the hairline to beef it up a bit.
