» IM, you're saying that regrowth occurred DESPITE a-c? Is it not possible

Dr. Gho KNEW the limit, but gc agreed even though (gc was aware about the risk). Using COMPLETELY the same donor area, or COMPLETELY the same follicular units several times - no problem at all. Mostly they don't even know how often they already extracted the same follicular unit. BUT there is indeed a (natural) problem involved...

Can you SEE the problem?
Recently, they told me that after having ~4 procedures in the SAME donor area, you WILL slowly observe 1) some hair less gaps and/or 2) even some pinpoint scars - "observe", if shaved down to ZERO. In other words, it WILL happen what you can see in the pic above - there ARE some hairless gaps or maybe even some pinpoint scars. BUT all the latter doesn't mean that you can't harvest within this same area plus 3-4 times IN ADDITION, until you really start to see TOO MANY hairless gaps. The problem is already discussed explained here:

The TELOGEN-hairs in your donor area (about 10-15% of the hairs are TELOGEN hairs and they are very small follicles und therefore they extract too much tissue in this case/FU). You simply can't see on the skin surface what exactly you extract from the skin. That's the problem, because the hair SHAFTS look similar/even equally, thick. So all in all, you have ALWAYS to calculate a "loss" of about 10-15%. That means about 10-15% of the extracted follicles will NOT (can't) regenerate. That means, THE more dense your hairs in your donor area, THE more extraction procedures you can have from the SAME area - until you will "note" something.
