Well then Data is right; the question of whether a second population of 'donor' hair can be created is crucial. Surely if so, hair could be implanted BACK into the (original) donor to ameliorate these hairless spots/pinpoint scars? Furthermore, assuming recipient hairs could be harvested, wouldn't that have massive implications for those who have existing hair transplants? Ravaged donor wouldn't be an issue if the person in question had DHT/balding resistant hairs SOMEWHERE on their heads.
