Armani Hairline Work Update (Hair Transplant)

I'm 6 months post-op from my hairline work and the right side has filled in very well. The left side of my hairline is STILL not filling in very much and there are STILL these elevations/bumps underneath my skin in that left temple area.

Will this hair ever grow out? are these elevations/bump areas the hairs trapped and growing underneath my skin (unable to break through to the surface)? Scary thought but i've heard of this.
