No that's the way patents are usually filed. As many things under the sun connected with the discovery are listed so as to protect against patent infringement.

The irony is that they almost certainly picked up this idea of wounding as a means of hair/tissue regeneration from Cotserellis.

I like the fact that they are trying various combinations and permutations of their procedure to see what works best.
