The following recipient photo, which shows the new hairs in the recipient site on day 15 recipient area as well as below the “old” 700 grafts from September 2011 …

So what are these "specific things" you discussed with Dr. Gho 3 month ago??

Everything "special" I could observe so far is the fact that they obviously extract just those follicular units (most of them are 2-hair FU's but sometimes also 3-hair FU's) who "stick" very closely together on the skin surface. Or in other words, they extract just those 2-hair or 3-hair FU's whose HAIR SHAFTS stick very closely together on the skin surface - what's logical concerning the nature of the HST technique.

Anyway, all this I could see in the gc's recipient photos (all implanted hairs of the FU's stick very close together) as well as in the donor photos, where ALL regrown hairs just stick very closely together on the skin surface, so that -without more and different photos from the same area- it's just sometimes difficult to see, that most regrown hairs are, in fact, 2-hair FU's again. All this means, that there are additional LIMITATIONS involved for HST candidates:

A guy who has lot's of FU's in his donor area, whose HAIR SHAFTS emerge rather in a row or too far apart from each other on the surface, these FU's are definitely not ideal FU's for the HST technique due to the very small diameter of 0.5 or 0.6 mm needles (such FU's do not fit into such small needles). Even you could extract such "special follicular unit configurations" - in this case you would extract TOO LESS tissue from the donor area. This means, such a graft has no problem at all to regrow in the donor area, but could have troubles to grow in the recipient site - because in this case there is simply TOO LESS tissue attached to the extracted hairs.
