The crown was NOT done. The goal of the procedure was to mainly frame the face, and to rebuild the frontal 1/3 as much as possible. That's just what the doctor had accomplished with this patient. This is good yield.

No doctor in the world could use a mere 3000 grafts to rebuild a hairline, frame the face, restore the frontal 1/3 AND to fix the crown on a near bald man.

Forum members please be realistic with your expectations. Do not think that 3000 grafts is all you need to restore everything from the hairline all the way back to your crown. It is simply not possible.
