Video issues (Hair Transplant)

Hangin,

There is a point to it. The Youtube video is the exact same video as the original on our site, both in length and in content. The difference is in the quality. The quality of the video on our site is about ten times better than the version on Youtube. The video in question, as well as the last several that were uploaded before it, are shot in high definition. When we export it to our site we have to reduce the quality so that the file is small enough to stream without dedicated Flash servers that cost thousands of dollars but even with the reduced quality the final product is still far superior to an equivalent standard definition video. It's better to have more information and scale back than to have less information and try to scale up.

All of our video production and post-production takes place in house and we're doing the best we can. I think we're doing pretty good considering we've had to learn from scratch but I know it can be better which is what we are currently looking into. The whole point of trying to make these videos as clear as possible is for the benefit of the viewer and to show that we WANT people to see our work as clearly as possible.

I do appreciate the feedback about this particular video. After all of the uploads we've done so far this video has shown to be the only one that has had issues and I know now that it's because of the way we coded it, which was different than the others. As I said, we'll re-code it on Monday and upload it again.
