10-day post-op repair photos- IHTI (Hair Transplant)

» » » This patient featured below wanted a natural looking hair line via
» » FIT/CIT.
» » » His hairline was very pluggy looking and noticeably mis-angled by
» » another
» » » clinic. For our surgical staff to provide corrective treatment on
» this
» » » patient, a plug redistribution was necessary. In this repair session,
» » we
» » » removed large follicular units (2 – 5 hair), dissected them and
» placed
» » » them back onto the hair line for a more softer appearance. Often
» times
» » » patients want us to place these dissected units back onto their donor
» » » areas to disguise scarring.
» » »
» » »
» » »
» » » This patient was told from his previous physician that he would have
» a
» » » nice full ending result on his hair line and a pencil thin scar.
» Being
» » » displeased with his hair line, he contacted us to arrange hair line
» » » repair. We redistributed approximately 170 plugs that yielded approx.
» » 371
» » » grafts for placement back onto his frontal scalp via FIT/CIT. You can
» » now
» » » see a more natural result and healing just 10 days after treatment.
» » »
» » »
» » » His new goal is for us to add temple peaks for a more appealing
» » hairline
» » » then fill in his strip scar via FIT/CIT. He is very pleased with his
» » » current progress.

» » I dont think the hairline looked that bad before. But it definiltey
» looks
» » more natural now. Is there any before pics of before his first HT.
»
»
» I agree, this patient didn't need extensive repair but some needed surgery
» indeed. Before arriving to us he had maybe anywhere up to 1000 grafts
» placed on his frontal hair line hoping for fuller coverage. After his new
» hair line matured, he was certain that it was too linear and lacking a soft
» natural appearence. I am unaware as to which clinic he recieved his strip
» work but I have attached his scanned pre-op photos as he was then a virgin
» to HT. I am also attaching photos of his scar that he was actually told
» would be a pencil thin result from trico closure.

That is a vicious scar if I have ever seen one. The scar stretched akwardly, what causes that?
