Hair pieces - the basics please... (Hair Replacement Systems)

ť ť Hi guys - some of you may recognise me from the other forums, i've had
ť an
ť ť HT but need some info on systems as ive explained below - all in-put
ť ť welcome.

ť ť I have never posted in this section before so please be patient with a
ť ť newbie!

ť ť I would really appreciate it if someone could give me a quick run down
ť of
ť ť the dos and dont's when researching, consulting, purchasing, and
ť ť maintaining a hair system. The reason i ask is because i'm setting up a
ť ť hair loss consultancy business and this is the one major area i am
ť lacking
ť ť in any great knowledge. Obviously if a client is interested in wearing
ť a
ť ť system i need to be able to give them the best, most ethical advice
ť ť possible regarding their options.

ť ť Having had a transplant and used finasteride and other
ť ť treatments/supplements i have a strong knowledge of these areas.
ť However
ť ť my sum research into systems was nearly four years ago when i consulted
ť ť with Advanced Hair Studio in the UK, who were keen to shave my head and
ť ť stick a system on top, or offer me laser therapy at extortionate rates.
ť I
ť ť think i had a lucky escape (especially given their persistent sales
ť calls
ť ť for months after).
ť ť
ť ť From searching this forum it seems many advise purchasing on-line and
ť ť doing self-maintenance, if anyone could list all the 'top' places to
ť buy
ť ť from and their pros/cons/differences it would be great. Im particulary
ť in
ť ť need of info on the best suppliers to UK as this is where im based.
ť Also
ť ť im sure many men at first atleast will prefer to go to a 'salon' like
ť AHS
ť ť or Hair club in the US, however is there a list of 'reputable/top
ť salons'
ť ť like in HT with Hasson&Wong/Shapiro/Armani/Cole/Feller, and ones to
ť avoid
ť ť like in HT we have the Bosley/MHR/Norton (UK) etc.

ť ť Also if someone could break down types of system and their differences
ť ť would be great ie lace etc as my knowlede is very sketchy.

ť ť Sorry for the long post but any help is much appreciated and will help
ť ť many others get the right advice if they are considering a system when

ť ť see them.
