If you knew your history you'd know that FUT has been the reference for the latest strip technique for many years and way before FUE was being practiced by all save for Dr. Woods. FUT stands for "follicular unit transplantation" and it is an acronym to separate the technique from mini/micros. I don't think the reference will be changed because something new has come along and to be clear, FUE sounds like FUT, not the other way around.
