A list of specific grievances with this software (Propecia, Avodart, Spiro, DHT & hormones ...)

» I just tested what you said. I tried to REPLY to a post without logging
» in. When I clicked REPLY, it brings me to the LOGIN screen. Not doubting
» you, but I need to test this again.

I just tried it again myself (attempting to REPLY to a post without being logged-in first), and this time I got the same thing you did: it took me immediately to the log-in screen. I'm not sure exactly what's going on, because I was pretty sure I'd seen that problem (as I described it earlier) two or three times in the past, including just last night.

However, I also tried doing it another way: I deliberately let the posting "timer" run out by waiting around for several minutes during a post, and then when I clicked the "OK-Submit" button, it took me to the log-in screen and told me that I have to log-in to make a post. In another words, it logged me OUT after I took too long to make my post, and made me lose what I had already typed. I suppose it's possible that that's what really happened the other times I thought it had let me try to post without being logged-in. I'll be watching fot that more carefully, from now on.

But in any event, we still have that problem of the software "timing-out" when you make a long post. That definitely still needs to be fixed.

» » THIS RESTRICTION MUST CEASE. I don't know of any other forum that has
» » such a time limit in place. It's completely unnecessary.
»
» Let me check with the programmer on this. I couldn't find the timer on
» this. For the time being, the best thing to do before you SUBMIT a post is
» to RIGHT CLICK your mouse, choose SELECT ALL, COPY, before you click
» SUBMIT. This way you can always RIGHT CLICK and PASTE the contents again
» if something happens.

Yes, that's an okay "work-around" for the problem, but the problem still needs to be fixed. Sometimes I get all absorbed in writing a post and forget that I have to do that. It shouldn't be necessary that I _have_ to do that! I don't have to worry about that problem on ANY other forum that I post on. Why should I have to worry about it HERE??

» Now changed. You have 120 mins to edit your post.

Ok, thanks for fixing THAT problem, at least! :-)
