I have noticed that the dosage recommended on herbal bottles is twice as much as was used in the aforementioned studies on curcumin/resveratrol. Perhaps there is a reason why the testers used a much lower dosage:

Can you get too many antioxidants?

Like an orchestra that needs the correct representation of instruments to make a beautiful symphony, our bodies need an array of antioxidants, not just this one or that one, to create harmony in our health."
