Rogaine (Topicals)

I want to start using rogaine to combat my thinning frontal hairloss. I was planning on using the foam, but I've read some horry stories on this forum as well as the other one. I'm leaning towards using the Kirkland 5% brand. It seems to be the cheapest. Since this will be my first time using rogaine. Is there anything I should know, any tips? In addition, where is the cheapest place you to buy it? Thanks in advance for the help.
