Treating hair loss with inhibitors of cholesterol synthesis (Propecia, Spiro, DHT & hormones ...)

posted by HairSite Admin Homepage, 21.05.2008, 05:46

Androgens are synthesized from cholesterol.

So is it possible to decrease the androgen levels by preventing cholesterol synthesis?

There are various inhibitors of cholesterol synthesis like 'Statins'. Do they have any role to play in preventing hair loss?
