Well, Nizoral 2% requires a perscription, so you won't be able to buy it without seeing a doctor. Revivogen is snake oil - there's very little evidence it works. As for Rogain, yes, for it to work you must keep using it, but that doesn't mean you "have to"; its effectiveness is temporary (like any other treatment for a chronic disease), but it doesn't sentence you to a lifetime of use. If you stop, your hair will just keep falling out at the same rate as it was before you began it.

Propecia is by far the most effective treatment. There are studies that suggest that using Minoxodil and Propecia together enhance both of their effectivenesses. Why is Finasteride "the last thing" you want to use? Because of the side effects? Less than 2% suffer from side effects on it, and if you do, just stop taking it. I started taking it at 20 and never had any side effects, ever.

Talk to a doctor. A rule of thumb is, if you think you're losing your hair, you are. No matter how many different explinations you can come up with (no, wearing a helmet does not cause hair loss, nor does wearing a ball cap or any of the other old wives' tales), you're just kidding yourself. Stop the denial and get on treatments that are proven to work. On the up side, given your age, you'll probably see a true "cure" within 10-15 years - well within your "good" years. Until then, do everything you can to keep what you have.
