Side Effects (Propecia, Avodart, Spiro, DHT & hormones ...)

» Arginine and GH does work better with younger people so the things you are
» saying make sense; I've been told it can work for people up to about 50.

Where did you get those ideas?

» What I read is that it enhances the natural release of IGF
» at night when one sleeps (which is the main release time of IGF).

Yes, and that's the very reason why I think it's more effective taken in the MORNING, upon waking up. You don't want to get all your GH and IGF at one time (like after going to sleep), you want to break it up into multiple occurrences during the day.

I personally had a _very_ dramatic weight-loss response to oral arginine several years ago, and that's when I was taking it every weekday, first thing after waking up in the morning. I would postpone breakfast for a while, of course.

» And for this megadosing is required: 10-12g, on an empty stomach,
» before you go to bed.

I used only 1 teaspoon of arginine hydrochloride, which was listed on the label as being 3.75 grams of arginine.

» In powder form, it is indeed horrible. But I get Now
» L-Arginine in powder form over the internet (www.iherb.com
» or any other place).

Arginine free-base does indeed taste ghastly, but arginine hydrochloride (like I used) is much more palatable.
