Yeah,Propecia(1mg) DOES stop working after 5-7 years.After this period of time,whether you keep taking it or not your hair will fall out.The only way you can stop the hair loss is to increase the dose to 2.5mg Proscar.There is no info on how long the 2.5mg dosage will continue to work but it is suggested that it may last another 2-5 years than you will have to go up to 5mg Proscar & than Avodart or go totally bald.Sad but true.

When propecia stopped working for me a drug store attendant suggested I combine it with a multi vitamin supplement rather than increasing the dose to 2.5mg but I didn’t pay any attention to her.
HanginInThere,this may be a very stupid question but how exactly will a multi vitamin supplement stop a person from losing their hair?
