Not necessarily.

The hair is a separate organ/tissue from the skin itself. If you yank the follicle during a FUE procedure, then depending on the situation the only tissue available to the Acell powder may be the surrounding skin itself. And I don't think that's as likely to regrow hair. (If regenerating/multiplying scalp skin alone recreated new follicles, then I would think we'd be getting new follicles forming on a conventional skin graft from the scalp that we were multiplying in a petri dish.)

Acell regrows stuff great, but only if it's starting out with some amount of the damaged tissue. If Acell has no specific tissue (read: instructions) from a scalp follicle in front of it, then I don't think it's as likely to regrow a follicle.



The bottom line is that this is all still just speculation. Nobody really knows. I guess we'll see eventually.
