FUE growing in the wrong direction (Hair Transplant)

posted by Abertus, 15.12.2008, 06:34

Hi,

I am 12 months post of FUE and I have a group of hairs on my right side in and directly behind the hairline that are not growing in the right direction.

They tend to curl toward the center & up and are impossible to style in any way.

They are not kinky or wirey as they often are during the first year post up but like a big curl that goes like a curv growing straigt up and back to the center of my head instead of as on the other side growing towards the temple.

Wondering if anyone else has this concern with their Ht and how did you solve the problem?

Could they been planted in the wrong angle?

Could it be that it is a curl from my neck that is taking the shape now in my hairline, if so could not the doc predicted that or is it difficult to see when the grafts are shaved down.

Is the only solution to take out the grafts an implant them in the right angle again, this is the last thing i want to do as it will look rather weird and take a long time before it grows out again.

I have tried with babyliss straighteners as girls use but it keeps coming back, has anyone tried this straightener cremes that afro people use to straighten theirs curls?

All advice is most appreciated
