I did this for 2 weeks a few months ago. No sugar of any kind. After day 2, I almost killed myself from withdrawls. No carbs, no nothing. I think it will definitely help hair, but life isn't worth living if you gotta do it like that.

However, I don't know if it is to do with 5ar in particular.
