How close is science to hair implants that can't be rejected? (Hair Loss Research & Clinical Trials)

» With all the developments in hair and skin science, and the troubles
» scientists are having in creating new (cloned) hair that actually
» multiplies and grows, how close are we to having hair implants that can be
» inserted into the skin, and are not rejected by the skin? These implants
» could be removed when the hair wears out, and new ones could be implanted.
» Is this even a possibility?

we have recently talked about this, in this forum.
There are synthetic fibers, approved in Japan and other countries, but not in USA.
There are infection problems.
I think the most recent fibers have a collagen coating that prevents infection to some degree.

So far, not the perfect solution we are waiting for.

The companies that produce synthetic fibers will have to hurry up to improve the fibers. Otherwise, they will be totally wiped out when HM finally arrives.
