Question about growth (Hair Transplant)

I know it's normal for grafts to shed, but is it normal 8 weeks after a HT for you to see no signs of the grafts being placed on your scalp even though after surgery there were scabs all over the place of new grafts? I had FUE. An area on my top and crown that was pretty much completely bald that had scabs covering the entire bald area now shows no signs of anything really.
