Most people here believe that Dr.Woods is one of the best HT surgeons, I'm one of them. I believe his donor monitoring concept is a path for accountability of HT surgeons. I think his insistence on having a good look at legal disclaimers is admirable, something that all patients should do. However, I also believe there are equally good surgeons who posts in this forum. The way I see it is, when Dr.Woods claims that his 500 is better than 2000 of other "production line clinics" , it's his opinion and not a fact. If it's a fact where is the proof, how do you prove it in the first place? I'm no fan of Gho, but he was crucified in this thread, because there was lack of evidence for his outrageous claim. The same applies to Dr.Woods' claim too. He asks us to question everything, I'm questioning his claim.

Another thing that bothers me is, Dr.Woods claims, that this forum is filled with lies and deception, but when he compares his results to "Production Line Clinics" who is referring to? He has mentioned before that he is liable to lawsuits so he won't name names, fair, but how is he helping the patients in this forum by making open ended accusations, and unquantifiable claims. He only adding chaos to a world of lies and deception.

Finally, my biggest sore point about his diatribes is, if someone is claiming to be above the system, why would he try to prove himself, or talk up his work, in the same "stinky" system? Just as Dr.Woods says, question everything fellow posters.

P.S:I'm sure the response to this will be in the lines British-Open news/Hitler Lives/"Looks like a Broadway Play"; we may appreciate the analogy, but will loose track of what the argument was in the first place!
