ť Just for the record. Some people thing I'm a completely negative
ť clownshoe who is here to rain on their joyous "We'll all have hair in 50
ť years and it'll only cost us 50 grand" But I'm not. I found this place
ť back in 99 or 2000 because I was freaking out over losing my hair. I've
ť posted somewhat of a story before so I won't go into it again. But
ť eventually, I shaved my hair and have kept it shaved for close to 2 years.
ť And while obviously I would rather have a nice head of hair I don't
ť actually mind it as much as I thought I would. I practically had a
ť dysmorphic disorder. I was literally paralyzed. I missed out on some
ť events, some hot sex, a whole lot of cool shit because I wouldn't want to
ť take my cap off. But it came down to either earning a really good salary
ť at a job I really wanted or being a dishwasher somewhere that would allow
ť me to wear a cap .I decided quickly that my only option other than a
ť toupe, which I had tried with no success would be to shave it off
ť completely. Shaved to the bone! I FREAKED for a while after I did it and
ť sometimes even now it bothers me. But by no means to the extent it had
ť before. But now I won't miss a swim or a steam or nailing some chick. In
ť my opinion, a lot of posters here would benefit from some professional
ť counseling. I don't mean that in an insincere manner either. I spoke to
ť a counselor and couldn't believe how much pressure was relieved by that
ť alone. It ties into your psyche more than most people would believe. You
ť might think you already know that. But it get's much more in-depth.
ť Tomorrow morning I have a funeral to attend and I just took a warm shower,
ť lathered up the knob and skinned it with a mach3. I went to the tanning
ť salon this afternoon for a little coloring and although I'm not looking
ť forward to the funeral, I am also not out of my mind with anxiety over
ť attending because ppl will see my thinning hair. This isn't meant as a
ť feel good commercial. This is me simply telling you guys that if I can do
ť it, I'm sure 98% of you can do it also. Fuck FUE and fuck HM and all that
ť horseshit! maybe in the future they'll have it perfected and it will be
ť affordable to the masses, but for now shave it if you have to. You'll be
ť pleasantly surprised at the reactions you'll get. Women absolutely DON'T
ť care. I'm sure there are a few who prefer men with hair, just as there
ť are women who prefer thin men or muscular men. But really my current and
ť former girlfriends didn't mind one iota! And I know they weren't just
ť saying that. A lot of these guys that post here would have you think that
ť you're less a man or hairloss will hinder you professionaly and they'll
ť provide surveys that agree. But as a person with empathy and as a guy
ť with a shaved head, I'm telling you. I don't have any of those problems.

thx body for this (great) post. i always thought you are an idiot who just posts shit but i was wrong. i know where you coming from. people in here are so freaked out about hairloss. they just freak out about it. its NOT normal. but tell that to them and you get back some new freaking out. you cant speak normal to them. especially in the HM forum. its crazy.

these people who come to hairloss forums (except a few) are not normal and all have problems (inner problems). or they had some and are over it now. like you bodhi.
in fact i think everyone who comes to hairloss forums has or had problems with their personality. i think its a failing of personality if you cant handle hairloss.
im or i was the same. im somewhere in between now. i dont say im better or anything.

having really big problems with hairloss is crazy. or counting on HM is crazy too. it makes me laugh how people rely their lifes on some developement which MAY come in future. when there are good news they are happy , when there are bad news they are sad. lol. its only a MAYBE. there is nothing sure in developement of new treatments.
