He was diagnosed in 06-Nov-2010, and (I assume) immediately treated.
Considering that he wears his hair very short, I think the improvement will be noticed much quicker. In women, with long hair, time is necessary for the healthy hair to reach the final lenght. 10 cm takes 10 months.
