ť ť the strip. You can see this in one of the pics. When the strip is taken

ť ť will thin the proximal hair a bit. Some will say this is not true but it
ť is
ť ť to some extent. Lets say that the hair within three cms of the strip is
ť ť stretched / thined by 10%-15% then if the fue was taken first at 25% of
ť the
ť ť total follicles (which is the maximum that should be taken) then an
ť extra
ť ť 15% will give the impression of 45% loss of density and you can forget
ť the
ť ť idea that 50% can be lost before it is noticeable. If you thin part of
ť the
ť ť donor by 45% it will be moth eaten. Sorry it is not an idea so easy to
ť ť explain. Not sure I got there.

ť I see your point, but how would it have been any different if FUE was done
ť afterwards as opposed to before? In the end, the grafts will be taken out
ť of the same area right, so it should thin the same way?

it's just that the surgeon can reduce the number of fue if they see that the strip has caused slight peripheral thinning
