Hair transplant is a surgery and as such, there are risks involved. No one doctor can guarantee a perfect result each and every single time. Also, even the best hair transplant doctor in the world is bound to have patients who claim to be unhappy with the results for whatever reason.

Hair transplant is not for everyone. We always advise our readers to perform thorough research and talk to as many doctors and existing patients as possible before proceeding with a hair transplant procedure. Where possible, go with clinics that have been able to produce consistent results over an extended period of time. Our hair transplant reviews section is always a good starting point. 

Our forum members are welcome to post their hair transplant experiences in the forum. For bad experiences with any hair transplant doctor or clinic, you are advised to adhere to these instructions:

1) Contact the doctor who performed the procedure and inform him about your post in the forum if you have already submitted one. Copy hairsite@aol.com on all correspondences.

2) State clearly who the doctor is.

3) Provide details about your experience, date of the procedure, and any information that is relevant to your case.

4) Provide written consent to the doctor to allow him to address your case in HairSite's open forum. A copy of the consent should be emailed to hairsite@aol.com 

5) Provide proper before and after photos to illustrate your case.

6) In order for your complaint to be valid, you must file the complaint with HairSite within 18 months from the date of your hair transplant procedure.

7) You cannot have work performed by other doctors or clinics prior to filing your complaint with HairSite.

8) If the written consent form and all the necessary documentation to substantiate your case are not provided within 10 business days, your case will be forever dismissed.

These measures are established to ensure that both the patient and the doctor are given an equal and fair opportunity to address an issue.  They are also established to discourage fictitious posters from discrediting a particular clinic on purpose. We have to ensure that the patient complaint is filed by a legitimate patient of a clinic.

This forum will NOT accommodate patient complaints from those who had requested a refund or free work from the doctor prior to posting in the forum. This forum will NOT accommodate patient complaints from those who have the intention of seeking a refund from the doctor in the future.  If you wish your story to be heard in the forum, please make sure that you have never requested a refund or free work from the doctor in the first place and you have no intention of seeking a refund or free work from the clinic in the future or this will be considered as an extortion attempt.
