International traveler, author and
lecturer, William Elliott has spent many years asking
world's renown spiritual leaders such as the Dalai Lama
and Mother Teresa profound and meaningful questions about
life. A hair loss sufferer himself, Bill's latest quest is
to correct a hair transplant mistake he made over two
decades ago. Bill's struggle with hair loss was first
publicized in his widely acclaimed book "Tying Rocks
to clouds" and then again in another publication
titled "Chicken Soup for the Soul".
Bill will write about his quest for a
hair transplant
repair/solution in both future articles and a book he has
recently begun. It is our hope that through the Charity
Repair program, we will be able to find Bill a good doctor
who can "undo" a hair transplant mistake from
two decades ago. "I'm trying to understand this
business of being human," Bill says, "I'm trying
to understand how to find a balance between a sense of
spirit and meaning while being in the world (and my
concern about how I look and how I want to live)."
As with our first Charity Repair program
that was started for patient DJ, the exact
arrangement will be strictly between the patient and the
doctor. The repair procedure may be offered totally free
of charge or at a discount to the patient. Notwithstanding
the types of arrangement between the patient and the
