No one seems to know for sure how Dr. Gho's technique actually works (except maybe for Gho), but supposedly it rejuvenates existing follicles allowing them to once again grow normal (hopefully permanent) hairs. Apparently, Gho also believes some new follicles are created. At least that's the scoop as we know it.
