Hyaluronic acid is a kind of mucopolysaccharide. It is involved in the formation of gelatinous substances throughout our body tissues and functions as some kind of lubricant. Hyaluronidase can be found in sperm and snake venom.
While not much is known about hyaluronic acid and its effect on hair loss, it has been suggested that the substance can form a shield on the hair follicle and protect it from the harmful DHT that causes hair loss.
