Honestly the scar is not that bad. I'd prefer no scar but it is worth the end result. I mean if my fiancee pulls the hair apart on the bad of my head she can find the scar, but no one is going to notice it unless you totally point it out to them. People can rip on me all they want in this forum. I'm just a normal guy that was sick of going bald. I think a tiny scar on my head is worth all the hair I've gotten. Now on to the shock fallout: Some hair fell out and went into shock, but it grew back around the same time as my transplants. I just covered it up with dermatch, which I've been doing for about two years. Overall the operation was pretty painless. I do have a high tolerance for pain though. They give you about six shots around the top of your head and two in the back. You get some sedatives before hand and I basicly barely felt the needles. It was like a novacaine needle that you get at the dentist. Once again people can call me a "mark" for the hair transplant industry all they want. Am I recommending the guy that did mine? No. Am I selling something? No I was devastated by my hair lost as a 24 year man. I did something about and I am happy about it so people treat me like an asshole. Hey it's not for everyone, but it was sure worth it for me. I mean I'll never look like I did when I was in high school, but I'll never have to wear some ridiculous looking toupee on my head. In a couple years I may need another transplant, but who cares its more comfortable and cheaper than hair club. Well, I've rambled on enough. I hope you make the choice that's right for you whether its shaving your head, getting transplants, or wearing a rug. Good luck man.
