HHMI researchers discover that stem cells
isolated from the skin of mice can self-renew
and differentiate into skin and functioning hair
follicles. The studies suggest that the human
equivalent of these stem cells -- which
researchers are currently trying to isolate --
could be used to regenerate skin and hair.

Recent contact with a researcher at Lion Corp.
did not reveal when or where they will publish
the results of their clinical trials with
Innovate, but they have made a study on the
expression of 1185 genes. It will be in JDS soon
(still In Press, not yet on PubMed or Ingenta).
The signal ratio for BMP2 in dermal papilla
cells from balding areas of AGA patients were
0,04 compared to non-balding non-AGA DPCs.
For ephrin A3 the signal ratio was 0,01.
