NEW YORK -- Tens of thousands of beauty and spa professionals from around the world will meet April 27-29, 2008 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City to see the latest in products, services, technology and education at the 2008 International Beauty Show -- the largest and longest running professional beauty event in the country. Last year, the event attracted more than 50,000 licensed professionals eager to learn new skills and purchase products.

*The popular, high-energy IBS Main Stage which is back in a big way as electrifying performances and demonstrations will be given by some of the top celebrity artists in the world including Nick Arrojo, Rodney Cutler, Vivienne Mackinder, Patrick McIvor, Martin Parsons and the Scruples Design team of Trent Day, Mia Liguori McHugh and William Whatley.

*More than 125 skill-building educational classes in haircutting, color, styling, makeup, nails and business taught by some of the most talented and recognized names in the industry are available free of charge with paid show floor admission.

*Access to hundreds of the biggest and best beauty companies from around the world who exhibit including Clairol Professional, Farouk USA Systems, Wella, Sebastian Professional, Graham Webb, Nail Tek, Paramount Companies, OPI, Essie, Turbo Power, Petrucelli, and many more.

*Co-location with the International Esthetics, Cosmetics & Spa Conference (IECSC), the largest spa show in New York allows IBS New York attendees complimentary access to the exhibit hall featuring spa and skin care exhibitors including Repechage, Eminence, Bioelements, DermaMed, Physiodermie and numerous others.
