New Product Trends and Ingredients
Manufacturers have been taking notice of the evolving
trends and have continued to formulate new products to
meet the changing needs that result from the newest
styles. Smoothing hair and eliminating frizz seem to be
a continuing theme. Even as long hair gives way to
shorter bobs, the straight, shiny, frizz-free look will
be popular. On the other end of the style spectrum–the
curly coifs–the demand is still for soft, flexible
control and movement, again with shine and no frizz.
Products abound to provide these results. With the
increasing use of hot tools and extreme straightening,
products that repair damage and soothe hair and scalp
are being snapped up by salons and consumers alike.
