Guys, here are some pics of my beard fue. I did about 13 hairs the first day of my procedure Dec 12-15, 2006. I did two of the FUE on a very visible location on each of my cheeks.

They healed so well, I decided to do about 250 more with 125 from each side around the jawline and neck areas. I've attached pics of the following.

1) Beard hair versus body hair comparison. The hair on the test session (other than one on each cheek) was taken from under my chin. They consisted primarily of multi-hair grafts. They are much more robust than my body or scalp hair.

2) Beard FUE where bead hair was derived from. I told Dr A to concentrate on removing single hair FUE as I didn't want too thick in certain areas.

3) Picture of area where hair was removed at 3 weeks. Picture is from opposite side as pic number 2, but the same number of grafts were removed. I have a pretty much constant 4 day growth of beard to draw attention away from short hair on scalp.

4) Extreme closeup of same area. Pictures have a very orange tint, not sure why. Areas look very good.

The places where Beard FUE were taken are imperceptible. However, I still want to see if there is an issue with tanning in these areas.

Also, is it possible to split multi-hair beard grafts so they can be transplanted as singles? Is there any way the beard grafts could be bisected in much the way GHO was trying to leave part of the scalp hair in place? The multi-hair beard grafts would definitely overpower scalp hair.

Forgot to mention that all beard hair was transplanted into scar areas from strip surgeries. I figured that the most robust hairs would have the best chance at survival in that area.
